Call to Order
Approval of the Minutes of the September 12, 2019, Meeting
The Board may enter into Executive Session to consult with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Board’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statute (“HRS”) section 92-5(a)(4).
Chapter 91, HRS, Adjudicatory Matter:
In the Matter of the License to Practice Medicine of Dennis I. Ayon, M.D.; MED-2010-109-L.
Dr. Ayon is requesting early termination from the Board’s Final Order, which, among other things, placed his license on probation for a period of five years and required that he be monitored by Pu`ulu Lapa`au.
Applications for License/Certification:
The Board will enter into Executive Session pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes §§ 92-5(a)(1) and 92-5(a)(4) to consider and evaluate personal information relating to individuals applying for professional or vocational licenses cited in section 26-9 or both and to consult with the board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the board’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities.

The Board will consider possible amendments to section 453-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, practice of medicine defined.
Emergency Medical Personnel
Public comment on issues not on the Agenda may be considered by the Board at a subsequent meeting. The Board is precluded from discussing or acting on items raised by public comment that are not already on the agenda. Public comment will be limited to five (5) minutes per person.
