The Board may move into Executive Session to consider and evaluate personal information relating to individuals applying for licensure in accordance with HRS section 92-5(a)(1), and to consult with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Board’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities and liabilities in accordance with HRS section 92-5(a)(4).

Allows Naturopathic Physicians and Physician Assistants to provide written certification for qualifying patients…

 

b.                  SB777 SD1 HD1-Relating to Health Care Professionals

 

Clarifies the list of acceptable institutions or organizations that can meet the continuing education requirements needed by Naturopathic Physicians for license renewal.

i.          Hawaii Society of Naturopathic Physicians (HSNP): Request to Expand Formulary

 

ii.         Cosmetic Treatments: Botox and Dermatologic Fillers

a.         Hawaii State Association of Progressive Naturopathic Physicians (HSAPNP)


The Board will review criterion for considering the approval of professional associations and response from HSAPNP. 

 

b.         Continuing Education Discussion Including Considering CE Waivers

 

The Board will continue the discussion considering options for clarifying Continued Education Course approval information.

             

7.         Open Forum

 

Public comments on issues not on the agenda may be considered by the Board at a subsequent meeting.
