a. DCCA Disciplinary Actions from March through April 2019

5. New Business

a. University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS)

Email from Daia Hatchett-Jackson, EdD requesting that the Board review their ASHA Accreditation and whether their graduates would qualify for licensure based on their current status. Currently they have been awarded candidacy.

b. Discussion on Eligibility for Licensure: ASHA AuD Requirements for CCC

Current statutes state audiologist applicants must have at least a master's degree. ASHA requirements state that an audiologist must have obtained a doctorate in audiology to obtain a certificate of clinical competence ("CCC").
6. Legislation Review

a. HB 252 Relating to Speech Pathology

Establishes a provisional license for speech pathologists. Takes effect on 1/1/2022.

b. SB 307 SD1 Relating to Speech Pathology

Establishes a provisional license for speech pathologists. Effective 7/1//2050.
