    Pursuant to Governor David Y. Ige’s Emergency Proclamation Related to the State’s COVID-19 Delta Response dated October 1, 2021, Chapter 92 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, Part I. Meetings was suspended to the extent necessary to enable boards to conduct meetings without any board members or members of the public physically present in the same location.

     

    The public is welcome to participate by virtually attending the meeting and/or by submitting written testimony to HGIA by one of the methods listed below.  Testimony will be accepted only for items listed on the agenda.     1.    Regular Meeting – August 16, 2021

     

    III.        PROGRAM UPDATES

    1.    Report on program updates in the Residential Loan Portfolio for the period ending September 30, 2021.

    2.    Report on program updates in the Commercial Loan Portfolio for the period ending September 30, 2021.

    3.    Report on Miscellaneous Program Updates.

     

    IV.       DISCUSSION AND/OR DECISION MAKING

    1.    Approve a set aside of $7.5 million for Hoʻāhu Energy Cooperative Molokaiʻs (“Hoʻāhu”) Community-Based Renewable Energy (CBRE) project, subject to HGIA obtaining Hawaii Public Utilities Commission approval to finance CBRE projects and underwriting of the Hoʻāhu project.

    2.    Approve utilizing $2.5 million under the LMI household and $5.0 million under the multi-family project allocations for the aforementioned Hoʻāhu project.

    3.    Approve Resolution for HGIA to apply for a loan under the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Energy Savings Program for an amount up to $20,000,000.

    4.    Approve HGIA’s Quarterly Report for the period ending September 30, 2021.
