The Oahu Nā Ala Hele Advisory meetings are commonly held every other month on the third Tuesday and are open to the public. Meeting materials are available for public review in advance of the meeting by contacting Aaron Lowe aaron.lowe@hawaii.gov.
To provide Video Testimony by ZOOM:
Send your request via email to aaron.lowe@hawaii.gov and clearly identify the agenda item on which you would like to testify. Once your request has been received, you will receive an email with the Zoom link. Requests may be made during the meeting and will be processed as soon as practicable.
To provide Written Testimony by Mail or E-Mail:
Interested persons can submit written testimony in advance of each meeting that will be distributed to Council Members five days prior to the meeting. Submit written testimony to aaron.lowe@hawaii.gov via postal mail to the Oahu Nā Ala Hele Program 2135 Makiki Heights Dr. Hon, HI. 96822. Written testimony that is received later than 24-hours prior to the meeting will be retained as part of the record and distributed to Council Members as soon as practicable, but we cannot ensure that Board Members will receive it with sufficient time for review prior to decision-making.
Individuals requiring special assistance or auxiliary aids or services (e.g., sign language interpreter), please contact staff in writing, by email or by calling at least 72-hours prior to the meeting so that arrangements can be made.
