On any of the above it ems\, the Board may convene in Executive Session pursuant to HRS §\; 92-4 to consult with the Board&rsquo\;s attorney on questions and issue s pertaining to the Board&rsquo\;s powers\, duties\, privileges\, immuni ties\, and liabilities pursuant to HRS §\; 92-5(a)(4)\, or to delibe rate or make a decision upon a matter that requires the consideration of information that must be kept confidential pursuant to a state or feder al law or court order pursuant to HRS §\; 92-5(a)(8)\, 206M-21(b)\, 206M-67.

The Board may enter Executive Session pursuant to HRS §\; 92- 5(a)(2) to consider the hire\, evaluation\, dismissal\, or discipline of an officer or employee\, or of charges brought against the officer or e mployee\, where consideration of matters affecting privacy will be invol ved\; provided that if the individual concerned requests an open meeting \, an open meeting shall be held.
