                                              iv.      Proposed EMS Credentialing Categories

 

2. Modernizing Emergency Medical Professional Licensure and Scope of Practice

 

Proposal of policy initiatives by Department of Health (“DOH”) to establish a collaborative process and determine appropriate regulatory structure and scope of practice framework for EMS.

 

3. Modifications to Administrative Rules for EMS Models

 

Consider potential amendments to administrative rules to formally expand definitions and accommodate non‑transport EMS settings and community paramedicine programs currently being developed and funded by DOH. 

 

4. Out‑of‑State License Verification Requirements

 

Discuss revising out‑of‑state license verification requirements from “ever licensed or certified” to “all active licenses” to reduce applicant delays caused by historic, inactive credentials.
